Job Purpose :
We are seeking an intelligent, dynamic, extremely articulate and highly motivated self-starter to generate new business for our company. Ideal candidates will be entrepreneurial and have the desire to expand their role and grow with the company. We are looking for talented individuals with the ability and willingness to seize an opportunity to become a professional sales person. You should be an excellent communicator in any situation, be it face-to-face or over the phone. You will be responsible for building a customer base and RDA will assist with its great leads obtained and working with the existing RDA Sales Team.
Since RDA has been in business for over 23 years, we have developed a great “word of mouth” referral system, along with strong partnerships that provide great leads for us, which enables the opportunity to earn commissions very quickly.
The successful candidate will be focused on selling our computer products and services. Your earning potential is unlimited. The bottom-line is that you will grow our revenue in-line with current forecasts by aggressively adding new customers who offer year-on-year growth potential. Basic Duties:
Create proposals and perform demos with aid from our Sales Engineers
Work with Team to close deals as well as on Quarterly Events RDA holds to attract new business
Proactively contact and pitch new client prospects via email/phone/in person
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Must have at least 1 year experience in any kind of B2B office environment. Sales experience would be ideal.
Team Player, Flexible & Resilient
Excellent communications and telephone skills (oral and written)
Resourceful, proactive and organized, with excellent follow-up skills
Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel) & any major email system (GroupWise, Lotus Notes, Outlook)
Extremely detail oriented, comfortable working independently, have the technical aptitude to learn new technologies
Development and cultivation of opportunities with prospective and existing clients
Develop a simple, clear and objectives driven semi-annual business plan
Having a rolodex of IT decision makers in the eastern region would be ideal but not required
